Pricing FAQ

Questions we hear most often.

Does Guard cost extra on top of Review?
No. Guard and Review are both included in the Layer 1 setup fee. They share the same annual credit pool from Layer 2. You pay once for the platform — you choose which modes to enable.
If an email is scanned multiple times during drafting by Guard, how many credits does it consume?
One. Credits are consumed at send, not per scan event during drafting. If an employee scans a draft ten times before sending, that email consumes one credit per active domain at the moment it's sent.
What happens if we exceed our tier limit?
A 10% soft buffer is included in every tier. If you exceed your credit limit including the buffer, your licence retroactively upgrades to the next tier — with no interruption to service and no penalty.
Are credits shared across tenants?
Credits are per subscription, and each tenant requires its own subscription. For groups of companies deploying Clawscan across multiple business units, volume discounts are available — get in touch to discuss your setup.
What is a “domain” for billing purposes?
Each active legal domain (Competition Law, Anti-Corruption, etc.) counts as one credit unit per email. If you have two domains active, each scanned email consumes two credits. You can choose which domains to activate.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Layer 2 is an annual licence with no monthly billing option. Layer 1 is a one-off payment.
